Steven Sinofsky, the former President of the Windows Division at Microsoft has joined Pinterest today. He might be a little late to the party on this one, but finally he finds interest in the pinboard-style photo sharing website, Pinterest.

Sinofsky’s account is legit as the social media service has confirmed itself by sending out notification emails to Sinofsky’s Facebook friends. The message reads, “Your Facebook friend Steven Sinofsky just joined Pinterest. Help welcome Steven to the community!”

Steven Sinofsky left Microsoft on November 12, 2012 and his departure was rumored as the result of clashes with the CEO Steve Ballmer when he denied adding support for tablets in Windows 7, but he certainly never quit the public domain. Recently he launched a blog, Learning by Shipping, where he is continuing his writing passion on product development.
