HTC is supposedly going to launch its One 2 smartphone sometime in late March in NYC. In addition, some design changes on the back side are expected.
New surrounding of One 2 (Codenamed HTC M8) smartphone is hitting news arena every day. Now, the official launch of One 2 has been suggested by the noble tipster @evleaks. He tweeted that the Taiwanese manufacturer would be going to launch the HTC M8 in NYC late March.
Meantime, a Chinese manufacturer Metal-Slim has published few new covers for HTC M8, which suggest to carry some small changes compared to those predicted few weeks ago. The most noticeable change is the dedicated space next to the camera. There’s no concrete information about it, but it could be the new place of fingerprint sensor. As of now, the layout of the cover doesn’t confirm anything, even brings more confusion.
On the other hand, @evleaks has hinted a mini version of the next-flagship model, following the launch of its elder brother (M8). In addition, a rumor coming from a distant island located in the Pacific Ocean southwest suggests the successor of HTC One will be just called as “One 2” and a dual-SIM variant also exists, according to the Office of Posts and Telecommunications, New Caledonia.
The HTC M8 seems likely at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona. All we’ve to wait to see. The One 2 is tipped to come with a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, a 5MPix UltraPixel rear camera, a fingerprint reader, running Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 UI on top.
