Apple has opened its annual Back to School 2015 offers, giving away a free pair of Beats Solo 2 on-ear headphones to qualifying users who purchase the new Mac. The offer is valid on the purchase of an iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and Mac Pro, and is open to qualifying students, parents, teachers and staff who purchase any of the above mentioned Macs.
The deal is now on starting yesterday and will be valid till September 18. Users be reminded that the offer is not valid on the Mac mini along with refurbished Macs, while iPhones and iPads are also not a part of this year’s offer.
The Beats Solo 2 on-ear headphones normally cost $199.95, and comes in gloss black, white, red, blue, gray or pink. While customers will also get a chance to upgrade to the Beats Solo 2 wireless headset at just $100, and are available in space gray, silver and gold color options.
Apple’s Back to School promotion deal has already started and goes on till September 18 for Apple Retail outlets, while on the Apple online store the offer begins starting August 6 and goes on till September 18. The deal for now is only valid in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. The Cupertino giant is yet to confirm the promotional offer in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark and other European nations.
To recall, the deal has been on for quite a few years now. In the past, the program offered up to $100 Apple Store gift card with the purchase of qualifying Macs, which were also valid on the iPhone and iPad, though not this time around. For more details, Apple has outlined the full eligibility requirements for the program in PDF for Canadian and US users on its website.
