HTC One Mini is expected to have a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with 720x1280 resolution, powered by a dual-core processor, standard GPU and 2GB of RAM.
Latest reports indicate that HTC might be working on another version of the company’s flagship device which will be officially announced in the month of July. This new smartphone is the HTC One Mini, the smaller and low powered version of the flagship HTC One.
It seems that Samsung is not the only one trying to come up with a mini version of the company’s flagship device. Apart from Samsung working on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, we have HTC working on the HTC One Mini. The battle of the next-gen smartphones might soon take a ‘mini’ turn.
Even though the HTC One Mini will not be as powerful as the original HTC One, the hardware specifications rumored on this smartphone seem to be very impressive. The HTC One Mini is expected to have a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels. The device will be powered by a dual-core processor, standard GPU and will have 2GB of RAM.
Along with the above processing unit, the device will also have 16GB of internal storage and the famous 4 Ultra pixel camera on the back. The sources are pretty sure about the 16GB of internal storage space. The HTC One Mini looks very similar to the original HTC One, it also has the dual front-facing speaker arrangement present on the HTC One. However, unlike the HTC One, the Mini version is expected to run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
Finally, consumers interested in this mid-segment smartphone should note that this smartphone has not been officially announced yet, and nor has it been confirmed that the device will be named as the ‘HTC One Mini.’ Reports indicate that the device will be officially unveiled in the month of July and will be priced somewhere around $500.
