It could be a blockbuster of an event that Apple seems to be readying up to in March what with reports of the iPad Air 3 likely to be launched at the time. This would be in addition to the new iPhone 5se already planned for launch during the same time. That is not all for Apple may also have new Apple Watch models lined for launch at the same event, sources added.
While nothing stands confirmed at the moment, though chances are that the event is likely to be held in the week starting March 14.
Coming to what will no doubt be the star attraction of the event, the new iPad Air 3 will come with some significant improvements over the current models. Among the new features, the iPad Air 3 could benefit from including a rear facing flash, more speaker grilles for better quality audio akin to that on the iPad Pro along with support for Apple Pencil stylus.
There could be an enhancement on the software front as well with a new Classroom app added to the fray. This will allow for better utilization of the tablet by students and teachers. The new Classroom app will be part of the forthcoming iOS 9.3 update coming our way.

Apple is reporting a slump in iPad sales which they have attributed to the lack of a new model reaching markets. The last time Apple had launched a new 9.7-inch iPad was in October 2014 while a new iPad Mini and the all new 12.9-inch iPad Pro was launched this past fall.
Sales of the iPad have nosedived to 16.1 million units for the first quarter of fiscal-2016, down from 21.4 million units sold during the same period last year.
In what is expected to be the other star attraction of the event will be the new iPhone 5se that is being resurrected to better augment the company’s prospects in the entry-level iPhone range. The 5se with a 4-inch display will feature some solid internal set up that includes the latest A9 and M9 chips that will allow for always-on Siri activation, enhanced camera along with NFC to support Apple Pay. Also, while the 5se will essentially be the same as the 5s of 2013 vintage, the straight edges could be replaced to match the soft curves that first appeared with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

As for the Apple Watch, there could be a new range of colourful band that is expected to debut at the March event. Apple might also use the occasion to launch the new watchOS 2.2 with integrated Map application for viewing on the new line Apple Watch devices.
All in all, a mega event this is turning out to be.
