Apple recently launched the next generation iPhone with some exciting improvements like outstanding camera hardware, certified water resistance, and enhanced battery backup. The phone is now up for pre-order in some countries and will gradually be available worldwide within the first week of October.
The latest iPhone will run the iOS 10, out of the box, which features a deeply integrated SIRI with improved Artificial Integration. Apple iPhone 7 packs in a new Home button with additional 3D touch and force feedback capability. As being widely rumored, the Cupertino-based tech giant has indeed scrapped the iconic 3.5 mm headphone port from its latest handset. The lightning port will handle the audio output, and a lightning to 3.5 mm port adapter will come along every iPhone 7.
For the first time, the iPhone is dust and liquid resistant with an IP67 certificate. The Apple iPhone 7 sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with 1334 x 750 pixels resolution. Even though the sharpness of the screen remains unchanged, the panel quality has improved. The iPhone 7’s display is 25 percent brighter than the iPhone 6S and is protected by an ion-strengthened glass.
Apple likes to call it Wide Color Display and brags unmatchable color gamut and exceptional viewing angles.
One of the most notable upgrades of the brand new iPhone is its camera department. The Apple iPhone 7 comes with an OIS 12 MP shooter with some remarkable improvements. In comparison to the previous year’s iPhone, the new camera sensor can capture photos about 60% quicker while consuming up to 30 percent less energy. The six-lens camera module features a wide f/1.8 aperture and boasts enhanced low-light shooting capabilities.
The new iPhone sports an innovative Quad LED Ture Tone flash which promises 50 percent more illumination. Apple has even added the ability to shoot RAW images. The selfie section is also improved with a new 7 MP FaceTime HD camera instead of the 5 MP sensor of its predecessor.
Coming to the performance, the Apple iPhone 7 sports the brand new A10 Fusion chip. The A10 is claimed to be twice powerful than iPhone 6 . The latest chip offers three times better graphics than the iPhone 6 while consuming just half the energy. The battery backup of the iPhone 7 is incrementally upgraded to provide two hours extra run time than the iPhone 6S.
This year, Apple has ditched the 16 GB variants from its iPhone line-up. Instead, the company has doubled up the storages without increasing the prices. The iPhone 7 will be sold in 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB memory capacities. The latest iPhone will come in five color options – Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, Matt Black, and a brand new shiny Jet Black. Apple will only sell the 128 GB and 256 GB models of the Jet Black color.
