Nothing Ear 2 price, specs, and features leaked ahead of March 22 launch

The highly-anticipated release of the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds is scheduled to take place on March 22. However, prior to the debut, a tipster has disclosed important details regarding the price, availability, and specifications of the earbuds. It is worth noting that the company has not yet provided much information about the Nothing Ear 2 TWS earphones. These earbuds were first discovered in the Bluetooth SIG directory back in December of last year. Despite this, Nothing has confirmed only a few key features of the Ear 2 earbuds.

In a recent tweet, the Director of Global Product Marketing at Nothing officially announced the release date for the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds. According to the tweet, the earbuds will be available for purchase on March 22 at 3 PM GMT. Additionally, interested consumers can watch the launch event live on either via Nothing.tech website or YouTube channel.

Just ahead of the highly-anticipated release of the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds, tech tipster SnoopyTech (@snoopytech) has shared several key specifications about the upcoming product. The Nothing Ear 2 is set to replace the popular Nothing Ear 1 as a truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphone. According to the leaks, the earbuds are expected to offer up to six hours of continuous playback on a single charge, with an impressive total playtime of up to 36 hours when used with the charging case. Furthermore, it’s rumored that the charging case will feature USB Type-C and 10 minutes of charging time will provide up to 8 hours of playback.

The rumor mills also claim the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds are expected to have a stylish design with transparent facades, and a more robust charging case compared to the previous model, Nothing Ear 1. Furthermore, the earbuds are touted to feature 11.6mm dual chamber drivers and active noise suppression technology capable of reducing noise up to 40dB. Another exciting feature is the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously. The same tipster who leaked the earlier details has also claimed that the Nothing Ear 2 will be available for purchase starting on March 28, priced at EUR 159.

In a recent tweet, Nothing has officially announced that the Ear 2 earbuds will support LHDC 5.0 encoding, allowing for high-resolution audio playback. Additionally, in an interview with the company’s CEO Carl Pei, it has been revealed that the earbuds are expected to receive an IP54 rating, which indicates a level of protection against dust and water splashes.
