Corsair One gaming PC range is the most stylish of them all

Corsair has come up with a new gaming PC which it has named the Corsair One. And much like its simplistic naming, the device too looks svelte and small. In fact, it is the latter bit that happens to be the most striking aspect of the gaming PC, and a far cry from the company’s own Bulldog, the gaming PC of gargantuan proportions that earned it as much of notoriety as perhaps fame.

Also, the Corsair One family comprises of actually four models – the base Corsair One, Corsair One Pro, Corsair One Pro (Webstore Exclusive), and the top of the range Corsair One Ti which also happens to be a Webstore only device.

Coming to the specs, the Corsair One range packs quite a punch thanks to its rather expansive internal setup that belies its diminutive external proportions. For the base Corsair One model, processing power comes from an Intel Core i7-7700 CPU while graphics is taken care of by the Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU.

Storage is in the form of a 240 GB SSD along with a 1 TB HDD while system memory stands at 16 GB 2400 MHZ DDR4 DRAM. All of the above comes for a cool $1,799.99 though this happens to be just the entry-level model.

From here onwards, there is a lot of commonalities to be seen with the internal setup of the rest of the models. Among the common bits found in Corsair One Pro, Corsair One Pro (Webstore Exclusive), and the Corsair One Ti include the Intel Core i7-7700K CPU along with 16 GB of 2400 MHZ DDR4 DRAM.

The Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU renders service in the mid-range Corsair One Pro, Corsair One Pro (Webstore Exclusive). The top-end, Corsair One Ti makes do with the Nvidia GTX 1070 TI GPU. Similarly, while the Corsair One Pro comes with a 480 GB SSD memory along with 2 TB of HDD, both the Corsair One Pro (Webstore Exclusive) and Corsair One Ti feature 960 GB of SSD.

Cost wise, the Corsair One Pro is priced $2,199.99 while the Corsair One Pro (Webstore Exclusive) comes for $2,299.99. Lastly, the top-end Corsair One TI is the costliest at $2,599.99.

Further, all the models are VR ready and run Windows 10 Home. Another unique aspect of the gaming PC is its use for water cooling technology for the CPU on the base Corsair One while the rest of the models boasts of water cooling for both the CPU and the graphics card. Corsair claimed the use of water cooling has enabled the PCs to be quieter than its peers even though there are no compromises on the performance front.
