Evan Blass leaked Motorola’s 2017 Moto line-up online

The entire Motorola 2017 line-up has been leaked, and the courtesy goes to Evan Blass, the mastermind of many online leak for years now.

So among the new handsets that the Lenovo owned brand has lined up for release this year include the new Moto C along with updates for the existing range. Those include Moto E, Moto G, Moto X and Moto Z.

The Moto Z is of course the range topper, and is designed to offer near flagship range experience and feel but at a much lower price point. Due this year are the Moto X Play and Moto X Force. Both come with 5.5-inch displays and support for Moto Mods. However, the Z Force will be unique in that it will have support for gigabit LTE and will have a toughened front display.

Next down the ladder is the Moto X and is the only one to be represented by a single model. The highlights of the model include its 2.2-inch 1080p display. The new Moto X will also feature 3D glass as well as SmartCam.

The Moto G series comes next and the challenge here for Motorola will be to hold on to the huge legacy that its predecessors have left behind. The onus will be on the GS and GS+ to take things forward and has been suitably equipped with a 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch full HD display for the two versions respectively.

Also, while a full metal body happens to be the GS’s claim-to-fame, the same for the GS+ include a dual rear cam. The latter again is fast becoming the default rear camera set-up in the mid-range segment.

Lower down the line, The Moto E range too is represented by two models, the base Moto E and Moto E Plus. While the Moto E boasts of a 5-inch 2.5D HD display along with a fingerprint sensor as well, the bigger E Plus features 5.5-inch HD display and a huge 5000mAh battery.

The newly minted Moto C range too is spread across two models, the base Moto C and Moto C Plus. However, unlike display size that has been the differentiating factor all through, for the Moto C, that has been with the pixel density. So while the C has a 480p resolution, the C Plus does better with a 720p display. Both however pack a 5-inch display. The C Plus again boasts of a 4000mAh battery.
