The Galaxy Note 9 has just leaked again, and this time it is being considered to be the official render of the upcoming handset. Unfortunately, the image reveals only the front of the phone and from what is evident, there isn’t much to be expected of the handset so far as its looks are concerned.
In fact, the looks can be considered to be much on the same lines as the Note 8, which boils down to even the same exact placement of the key components. Those include the front and rear-facing cameras, the fingerprint sensors with the power button on the right with the Bixby and volume rockers on the left.
However, there has been a constant flip-flop of sorts with the fingerprint sensors with the opinion being divided on whether the sensor is going to be placed beneath the front display or will be placed at the usual position along the rear. With the basic looks remaining the same, maybe Samsung has something up its sleeve with the biometric sensor and its placement underneath the front display will no doubt be a gamechanger in the segment. Not to mention, Samsung has really been keen to have the feature working on its flagship handsets for quite some time now.
Meanwhile, the leaked image also revealed the same near identical representation of the Infinity Display theme being adopted on the Note 9 as well. So there is going to be the same edge-to-edge display while the top and bottom bezels are reduced to just the bare minimum. However, there might be a slight bump in the display size, with the Note 9 sporting a 6.4-inch display compared to the 6.3-inch on the Note 8. The resolution too is expected to be the same at 2960 X 1440 pixel along with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The stylus too will be a more close-fitting affair
However, notwithstanding the exterior looks, there will no doubt be an upgrade on the interior. That includes the fitment of the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset that has already proved its mettle on the Galaxy S9 long with almost every other year 2018 Android flagships. Similarly, Samsung will also have on offer the Exynos 9810 powered Note 9 for sale in several international markets. A RAM strength of 6 GB can also be considered to be the standard fitment though there sure will be a higher-end offering having 8 gigs of memory.

In other changes expected with the Note 9 is the inclusion of a bigger 4000 mAh battery. Also, of course, the phone will be running a version of Android 8.0 Oreo. Further, the Note 9 is expected to be available in five exciting color options – Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Orchid Gray, Teddy Brown, and Titanium Gray.
Samsung has an unpacked event planned on August 9 for the Galaxy Note 9 device launch.
