There is a new Moto G7 family of smartphones waiting in the wings for a launch sometime soon though we have the press renders of the phone already thanks to a recent leak. Also from what is evident, there is going to be four G7 variants up for launch – Moto G7, G7 Plus, G7 Power and G7 Play to suit different market segments.
What is also hard to miss is the design aspect of the phone which is going to be consistent for a pair each of the phone lineup. To elaborate on this, there is the teardrop notch that applies to the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus and are marked by the black bezels around them. The notch houses a single lens front camera along with the associated sensors but no flash.
The bottom bezel again is markedly thick and carries the Motorola badging on it. The bezels all through sport the black shade and does look nice. The rear on the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus comes with circular camera cluster that again is slightly raised as in past models. Housed within the cluster are twin lens camera arranged horizontally with the LED flash sitting just below it.
Both the phones come with fingerprint sensors accommodated underneath the batwing logo at the rear. However, the G7 Plus is going to be the plus sized model with a bigger display as is the usual convention with the G7 series. Likewise, there will likely be an enhanced set of specs for the G7 Plus as well to differentiate from the base G7.
Both the phones are shown carrying the 3.5mm headphone jack, a Type-C USB port along with the speaker grille. Next up is the Moto G7 Play and G7 Power both of which come with a more conventional notch that is wider than most minimalist rectangular bezels that we have come across in smartphones such as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2. The notch understandably houses the selfie cam along with the sensor and speaker though there is also an LED flash this time.
The frontal layout for both is otherwise similar with black colored bezels and a healthy chin at the bottom with the company badging on top. The rear meanwhile is characterized by the presence of a circular camera cluster similar to that on the G7 and G7 Plus, complete with a dual lens camera system. However, the two lenses are arranged vertically this time. The rear also has the batwing logo that doubles up as the fingerprint sensor.

Lastly, there is the G7 Power which is characterized by the presence of a huge 5000mAh battery. That apart, G7 Power is much like the G7 Play with only a micro USB port sitting at the bottom. No other ports can be made out from the leaked images currently available. Other details including internal specs and launch plans are awaited.
