The Oppo K3, of which we have seen a few leaked images before depicting the shark fin shaped front facing pop-up cam is in the news again. This time, the full spec sheet of the said phone has reached the online world, revealing several key aspects of the phone hitherto unknown.
For instance, we now know the phone will come with a 16 mp front shooter housed in a unique pop-up mechanism, all of which does look nice and slick compared to what we have seen so far. The rear will have a twin cam setup comprising of a 16 mp primary shooter and a 2 mp depth sensor.
A 6.5-inch AMOLED panel makes up the front and stretches right up to the edges, making the front look really impressive. Aiding in that is the 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution through the display isn’t just about its looks as it also hosts a fingerprint sensor underneath it.
At the core of it, is a Snapdragon 710 chipset which sure can work up some processing magic in tune with either a 6 GB or 8 GB RAM. Storage options include 128 GB though it’s not known if there is a micro SD card support available to allow for more storage.
Powering the phone is a 3,700 mAh battery which should be enough to keep the lights on for more than a day at least. Then there also is the support for 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging which means the battery top-up times are going to be really quick.
Among the other aspects of the phone as mentioned in the leak include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The phone will, however, come with a plastic build, which shouldn’t be too big of a surprise given its positioning in the mid-range segment. Price is anybody’s guess at the moment though what is a surety is that it is going to be competitive vis-a-vis the competition.
Another aspect of the phone and which can be a bit of a concern is its weight, which is mentioned at 191 gms. This again is a shade on the heavier side but shouldn’t be too big of a concern if the phone turns out to be impressive on a whole.
