Sony Xperia TL

The new Xperia TL update offers one of the latest versions of Android to users of the smartphone along with some performance based enhancements and features

Sony is now distributing Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for the AT&T variants of Xperia TL smartphone. Xperia T, getting the Jelly Bean update before its international cousin Xperia TL, delivered the users a refreshed experience and the similar services are expected to move on the platform of Xperia TL.

This new update offers one of the latest versions of Android to users of the smartphone along with some performance based enhancements and features such as HDR camera capability, a fresh user interface, etc.

The update brings new smooth & sharp user interface, and raft of features which are not available in the older Xperia TL, but are incorporated in advance in Sony’s latest handset, the Xperia Z. Alongside Jelly Bean, the owners of Xperia TL will get a new & improved camera app with “Superior Auto” mode, a redesigned home screen launcher, a new lock screen setup, a renovated dialer, and an inbuilt HDR camera capability.

The update offers extended battery mode option plus more stabilized Wi-Fi connection. According to users who have already received the update, the smartphone got a decent performance boost, which is probably due to the keyboard which is now more sensible along with more responsive as well as structured browser quick commands.

As usual, the update is being distributed gradually to the Xperia TL owners. There are possibilities that users might not be able to update their smartphone to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean right away. Don’t worry, the update will arrive to your country or network provider soon.

For now, it seems that you can only grab manually the update via Sony’s PC companion as there is no hint yet about the OTA option for the roll out of this Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Xperia TL.
