Samsung is reportedly working on a new dual-SIM variant of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 smartphone, called as the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Duos Model number SCH-P729.
Apart from being able to fit in two SIM cards, the dual-SIM variant of Galaxy Mega 6.3 doesn’t seem to have any major differences compared to the original Galaxy Mega 6.3. It is expected to have a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device will be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos processor, on-board graphics and will have 1GB of RAM. Other important features include an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP front facing camera.
As far as storage is concerned, Samsung Galaxy smart devices have always been the best, and so will this new Galaxy Mega 6.3 as it comes with a microSD card support of up to 64GB. The smartphone runs on the latest version of Android, 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and future updates should not be a problem whatsoever.
The original Galaxy Mega 6.3 has been a big hit in the market, and we have the same expectations from the dual-SIM variant. There has been no official announcement from Samsung, but that’s how things happen now a days. We first get to know everything about the Galaxy devices, and a week or so after it’s Samsung who makes them official.
Samsung may officially announce the Galaxy Mega 6.3 Duos in coming weeks, and the device should go on sale right away. It would be interesting to see if the Galaxy Mega 6.3 Duos borrows some of the cool gesture features of the Samsung Galaxy S4.
