Motorola has announced the Moto G7 Power is all set to go on sale in India starting today. The phone along with its other stable mates, the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, and Moto G7 Play have already been launched in Brazil though it’s not known when the other models are going to be available in India.
Coming to the G7 Power, much of the naming has to do with the 5000mAh battery that the phone comes with. Motorola is claiming that will allow for 60 hours of power on a single charge while there is going to be a 15W turbo power charger accompanying the device as well which will allow for 9 hours of power within just 15 mins of charging.
That apart, the G7 Power is powered by a 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor coupled to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Not known though if that is going to be the only model available or if there is a more premium version of the same in the offing too. In Brazil, there is a cheaper 3 GB model on sale though the official Motorola website only has mention of the 4 GB version.
Meanwhile, dominating the front is a 6.2-inch HD+ display having a 19:9 aspect ratio. The front also comes with a rectangular notch at the top along with quite a prominent chin at the bottom with the company name etched on it. The phone will be running Android 9.0 Pie right out of the gates and will include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well, one that is going to sit underneath the Moto batwing logo.
So far as optics are concerned, the G7 Power will have a single lens 12 mp camera of an f/1.8 aperture at the rear. The camera along with the flash is going to be housed with a circular platter as has come to be the trademark of Moto devices off late. For the front, there is the 8 mp selfie cam with f/2.2 aperture.
Among the other features worth mentioning of the new G7 Power include a micro USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. Plus, the phone will also be 4G VoLTE ready beside being Bluetooth 4.2 compatible as well.
The phone is also competitively priced at Rs. 13,999 with Flipkart as a the online sales partner. That said, the online retailer is yet to list the phone at the time of this writing.
