Here is something that will have OnePlus fans jumping for joy, the Chinese firm is rumored to launch at least three phones in 2019. Of these, two of the phones will form the usual line-up comprising of the successor of the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T and would come to be known as the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T devices. After that, there also is a 5G phone forthcoming that likely will form an entirely new line-up from the company.
Of these, the company’s first offering, the OnePlus 7 has leaked online and is already making waves online with its true-blue edge-to-edge display having zero bezels all round. That also means there are no punch hole display, let alone a notch. Instead, the phone will be incorporating a sliding mechanism where the bottom portion will be incorporating the front-facing cam.
In fact, in the leaked video of the device, the bottom portion is seen playing host to at least three camera holes as well as the ear-piece. If that be true, the OnePlus 7 will be breaking new grounds with the world’s first phone with a triple front camera setup, if the third hole isn’t an LED flash, that is.
Also, let’s hope the sliding mechanism is robust enough as the sliding form factor will come into the picture each time one needs to make or receive a call.
The rear meanwhile will feature three cameras housed in a raised casing though the third cam is placed in a separate enclosure. The led flash is placed beneath the three cameras while the company logo is placed beneath it all.
The lack of a physical fingerprint scanner is also noticeable, which likely points to the company going for an under display arrangement, if not something else. The video also reveals the volume rocker bottom placed along the left edge while the power button placed along the right.
As for its 5G venture, the company seems all set to join the league with first 5G phone in 2019. That said, the OnePlus 7 too might be 5G enabled given that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 855 chipset which again is 5G enabled.
Xiaomi Mi A1 and OnePlus 5T are among the most radiating phones, Pixel 3 duo too
As for its launch, OnePlus usually follows the June-July window to launch its first flagship device, which means there is every chance the OnePlus 7 will be previewed during the upcoming MWC event. No doubt there will be more details available then.
