If the almost incessant leaks on the OnePlus 7 hasn’t been enough, we now have the complete spec sheet of the Pro version of the phone leaked online, providing us with all the details of the top-of-the-line phone.
Here is all that is known of the company’s next flagship phone, the top-end OnePlus 7 Pro.
To start with the display, the OP7 Pro will come with a 6.67-inch fluid AMOLED display having a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. As has already been known before, the display will have a refresh rate of 90Hz, which easily is the highest among contemporary smartphones. The company had earlier confirmed the display to have got an A+ rating from DisplayMate.
More recent reports claimed the display will also be HDR10+ compliant as well, which the company said allows for 4000 nits of brightness, which is 3000 nits more than what HDR10 compatible displays are capable of. OnePlus said the adoption of HDR10+ standard will allow for better contrasts than possible with other displays.
Powering the phone will be the Snapdragon 855 chipset along with 12 gigs of memory and 256 GB of storage for the top model. In fact, the Pro model is already proving to be a speed monster given its single core and multicore test scores of 3429 and 11101 points respectively. There is also going to be the Adreno 640 GPU as well for better graphics rendering. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Pro will also be available in the 6 GB/ 128 GB and 8 GB/ 256 GB configuration as well.
Coming to its imaging abilities, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be the first from the company to sport a triple lens camera at the rear. That includes a 48 mp f/1.6 lens (Sony IMX586) for the primary camera. Complementing it is a 16 mp f/2.2 wide-angle camera with 117-degree field of view and an 8 mp f/2.4 camera having 3x optical zoom. The camera will be supported by a dual LED flash along with a host of software enhancements such as PDAF, LAF, CAF and OIS.
For selfie shots or video conferencing, the phone will come with a 16 mp f/2.0 shooter. However, the unique aspect here is that the camera is enclosed in a pop-up structure to allow for a true bezel-free front design.
Among the other features that the phone boasts of include an in-screen fingerprint sensor and a 4000 mAh battery with built-in Warp charge 30. The phone will be running Android 9 based Oxygen OS and will come with the usual mix of sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope sensor, proximity sensor, compass, brightness and gesture sensor.
The authenticity of the leak hasn’t been verified yet, so we request the readers to take the details lightly. The phone is slated for an official launch on May 14.
